Accounting Intern

RDO Equipment Co. is an industry-leading equipment and technology provider with a collaborative field support office. The Accounting Intern will assist with daily and monthly accounting operations, financial processes, reconciliations, and journal entries while developing knowledge of accounting systems and supporting effective communication and problem-solving.

What you'll do:

• Accounting Operations and Financial Processes: Assist with daily and monthly accounting activities, including preparing and entering journal entries, supporting the machinery and equipment sales cycle, maintaining subledgers, and completing manufacturer statement reconciliations
• Systems Knowledge and Professional Development: Gain working knowledge of company accounting systems and processes to develop a strong understanding of accounting operations and business workflows
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with accounting and field personnel to support day-to-day operations, resolve issues, and ensure accurate and timely information sharing
• Problem Solving and Team Support: Work independently and collaboratively with team members to identify, analyze, and implement logical solutions to accounting and business-related situations

What they're looking for:

• Junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy; motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Prior accounting, finance, or business-related coursework and a strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting preferred
