Accounting Intern - Busy Season 2027

Gallagher, Flynn & Company, LLP is a professional services firm offering accounting, assurance, tax, advisory, and related services. The Accounting Intern will support client accounting activities by preparing reports, analyzing financial data, conducting budgeting and forecasting research, and reviewing financial documents and journal entries.

What you'll do:

• Help prepare invoice and expense reports
• Analyze financial data
• Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting
• Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy

What they're looking for:

• Accounting and Finance students as well as students with another relevant concentration who have a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting career
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
• Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
• The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
• A willingness to learn
• Detail-oriented
• Analytical skills
• Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time
• Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments
