About this role
Myers & Stauffer is a certified public accounting and health and human services consulting firm serving government-sponsored health care programs. The Accounting Intern will support project and work-in-progress activities, respond to inquiries, develop familiarity with the firm’s services, and build proficiency in administrative and accounting-related software while meeting performance and professionalism expectations.
What you'll do:
- Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects
- Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual
- Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services
- Respond to all inquiries and requests
- Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors
- Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
- Ability to gain computer proficiency relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research
- Professional in appearance and manner
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
