About this role
Honkamp, P.C. is a Midwest CPA and business advisory group providing accounting and business services. The Accounting Intern will apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, including processing accounts, preparing reconciliations and tax filings, maintaining depreciation schedules, and handling administrative tasks.
What you'll do:
- Processing monthly accounts
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Prepare state sales and use tax
- Prepare annual 1099 and 1096
- Maintaining client depreciation schedules
- Handle all administrative tasks, as assigned

- Candidates should be pursuing a degree in accounting
- Outstanding academic performance
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Programs
