Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is an energy company dedicated to delivering energy that drives progress. The Accounting Intern will assist with reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet analysis, accounting close activities, external audit support, and ERP implementation projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries
- Manage and complete balance sheet fluctuation analysis
- Help with business unit accounting close process
- Support financial statement audit by the external auditors
- Support other special projects as needed to support the company’s ERP implementation

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Strong analytical skills, pays close attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
