Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

Post Consumer Brands is a consumer-packaged goods company offering food products for people and pets. The Accounting Intern will support accounting, financial reporting, treasury, data analysis, process improvement, and business operations through a 13-week summer internship.

What you'll do:

• Support financial reporting and accounting activities that help business leaders make informed decisions
• Research accounting topics and assist with implementing accounting standards
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights
• Create reports and dashboards that improve visibility into key financial information
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve team efficiency
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges
• Researching and applying accounting guidance to real business situations
• Building tools and reports that support financial reporting processes
• Enhancing data analysis capabilities for the accounting team
• Streamlining repetitive processes through automation
• Work on projects that have a real business impact
• Participate in professional development, networking, and social events

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn in a business environment
• Interest in accounting, finance, and the consumer-packaged goods industry, with a desire to explore career opportunities with Post Consumer Brands after graduation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
• Previous internship, leadership, work, research, or project experience
• Experience with Excel, data analysis, or financial systems
