Accounting Intern - Summer 2027

Estes Construction is a people-focused commercial construction company that emphasizes collaboration, safety, quality, and professional development. The Accounting Intern will support finance and project teams, participate in site visits and safety checks, assist with documentation and vendor coordination, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives during the summer internship.

What you'll do:

• Assist finance team, project managers, pre-construction managers, superintendents, project coordinators while learning how real-world decisions share the outcomes
• Participate in site visits and safety checks under supervision
• Assist with documentation tracking and vendor coordination
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments
• Participate in company initiatives, committees, and continuing education

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting, or Finance, or related program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willing to learn, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on-site
• Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Driving Record
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Commitment from May – August (Summer 2027)
