Accounting Intern - Summer 2027

Journey Group is a full-service construction group offering commercial, manufacturing, industrial, civil, residential, and asphalt construction services. The Seasonal Accounting Intern will support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries, while providing administrative and project-based support to the Controller and collaborating with accounting and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

• As an Accounting Intern at Journey Group, you will support daily accounting operations by assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including accurate data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
• The intern will provide administrative and project-based support to the Controller and work collaboratively with the accounting team and cross functional departments to ensure efficient and timely financial operations

• To excel in the Accounting Intern role at Journey Group, candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in an accounting or finance related field, ideally at a Junior or Senior standing
• Prior experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential for handling tasks efficiently
• Candidates must be adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently
• Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time
