Accounting Intern- Summer 2027

R&R Realty Group is a commercial real estate company serving office, retail, multifamily, and warehouse properties in Iowa and Nebraska. The Accounting Intern will gain practical experience by preparing and analyzing financial information, reviewing budgets, supporting audits, and providing general administrative assistance.

What you'll do:

• Prepare, record and analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital. Prepare cash flows, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company, partnership or third-party ownership financial position for management
• Prepare, review and analyze annual budgets
• Prepare for audits of company accounts
• Provide general administrative support as needed

What they're looking for:

• Must be enrolled as a college student pursuing an accounting or related degree (Junior and senior student status preferred)
• 3.2+ GPA
• Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be an active learner - willing to learn new things, tackle new projects and software and demonstrate initiative
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Completion of or current enrollment in Intermediate Accounting course preferred
