Accounting Intern (Summer 2027)

Robinhood is a financial technology company focused on democratizing finance and building the future of financial services. The Accounting Intern will support crypto accounting operations through monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting, U.S. GAAP application, discrepancy resolution, and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support financial statement analysis and reporting
• Apply U.S. GAAP principles to real-world accounting scenarios
• Collaborate with various teams to gather information and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028
• A foundational understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and interest in how digital assets impact financial reporting
• Effective written and verbal communication and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
