Accounting Intern | Summer 2027

Tractor Supply Company is a rural lifestyle retailer offering an 11-week 2027 Accounting Summer Internship Program at its Store Support Center. Interns will support accounting and internal audit activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, reporting, process reviews, and risk analysis.

What you'll do:

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
• Support account reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting processes
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Support internal audits and financial or operational reviews
• Assist with evaluating processes, controls, and potential areas of risk
• Analyze information and help identify opportunities to strengthen processes and mitigate risk

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn additional financial tools and systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize information, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related areas
• Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship
