Accounting Intern (Summer 2027) | Auburn University Meet the Firms & College of Business Career Fair

Altec is seeking Accounting Interns for its Summer 2027 internship program in Birmingham, Alabama. The role provides hands-on experience through meaningful accounting projects, mentorship, professional development, and exposure to financial, cost, lease, rental accounting, and financial analysis and reporting.

What you'll do:

What they're looking for:

• Be available to work approximately **40 hours per week from mid-May through August 2026**
• Be pursuing a **Bachelor's degree in Accounting** at an accredited four-year college or university
• Have completed at least their **sophomore year** by Summer 2026
• Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Accounting major (or recent graduate) from accredited four-year college or university
• Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, with **Excel experience preferred**
