Accounting Internship – Summer 2027

Trout CPA provides interns with hands-on experience in public accounting while working alongside experienced professionals. The Accounting Intern will contribute to client engagements across audit, tax, advisory, and other service lines while developing technical, analytical, problem-solving, and professional skills.

• Participate in meaningful client work across multiple service lines and departments
• Explore audit, tax, advisory and more
• Develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

What they're looking for:

• Be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Have completed at least three years of accounting coursework by the start of the internship
• Intend to pursue CPA licensure
• Be available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week from early June through late July 2027
• Maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher in accounting specific coursework
• Demonstrate involvement through internships, work experience, student organizations, or leadership activities
• Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate initiative and adaptability
