Accounting Specialist Senior/UKHC

UK HealthCare seeks an Accounting Specialist Senior for its Controller’s Office Shared Services team. The role oversees accurate and timely processing of department payment requests and helps maintain the integrity of the financial accounting system while coordinating with internal departments and external partners.

What you'll do:

• The Accounting Specialist Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the Shared Services Travel and Expense Management team provides accurate and timely processing of department payment requests while ensuring the integrity of the financial accounting system
• This position interacts on a regular basis with Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, University Financial Services, external customers, and vendors as well as internal customer department to integrate solutions that meet the Enterprise’s goals both financially and operationally

• BA
• 3 yrs
• The ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Advanced Excel Capabilities
• Proficiency with electronic ERP Systems, preferably SAP
• Data reporting and analysis
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Supervisory experience in a high-volume, electronic shared services accounting or accounts payable environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or accounting preferred
