Accounting Specialist - Workflow Analyst

Mercor connects creative and technical talent with AI research labs and is seeking an Accounting Specialist - Workflow Analyst to provide detailed insight into accounting practices. The contractor will complete a written intake describing accounting workflows, time allocation, field divisions, and often-overlooked aspects of the work.

What you'll do:

• Complete a :30-minute written intake about your accounting practice
• Describe your day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and core role workflows
• Explain the insider divisions of the accounting field, beyond textbook descriptions
• Share the "invisible" aspects of your work often missed by outsiders
• Provide detailed and specific responses; detail matters more than polish

What they're looking for:

• Practicing or recently practicing accountant in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory
• CPA (or equivalent) preferred; deep domain experience without the credential also welcome
