ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

SONS' INDIA SOFTWARE PVT. LTD. is hiring an Accounting Technician to support Finance with accounts payable assistance and technical accounting duties. The role reviews, evaluates, and adjusts assigned accounts and assists with billing, reconciliations, month-end processes, and audit reporting.

What you'll do:

• Assist Accounts Payable with AP duties and acts as the backup for AP when necessary
• Assist with General billing and/or General billing adjustments
• Assist with reconciling accounts receivables and accounts payables to the general ledger on a monthly basis; completes journal entries or cash receipts adjustments for necessary corrections
• Assist with accounting month-end process (updating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and completing reports)
• Assist with reports for auditors during audit
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Must be proficient in Word and Excel
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
• Must possess good oral/written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to prepare and maintain various reports, as required or assigned
• Must have ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
• At least 1 year accounting experience preferred in local government, public or private industry
