Accounts Payable Clerk

Myrtue Medical Center is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform all aspects of the accounts payable function. The role also carries out functions delegated by the Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

What you'll do:

• The Accounts Payable Clerk performs all aspects of the accounts payable function
• In addition, he/she performs functions specifically delegated by the Controller and Chief Financial Officer
• Processes and inputs vendor invoices, writes vendor checks and performs all other accounts payable functions including maintaining accounts payable master files
• Works with Central Supply on purchase order discrepancies
• Invoices and posts miscellaneous receivables
• Assists with special projects
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Minimum of a high school education
• Computer experience
• A keen awareness of detail and organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to perform job functions in a timely manner
• Associate's degree or additional training in accounting, finance or business
• Accounts payable and accounting experience
