Accounts Payable Intern

Compeer Financial is a member-owned cooperative providing financial services to agriculture and rural communities. The Accounts Payable Intern will support the Finance department by processing accounts payable and expense report entries, completing general ledger activities, balancing deposits, and assisting with miscellaneous projects.

What you'll do:

• Review/code/complete entries for accounts payable and expense reports
• Complete general ledger journal entries
• Various general ledger reconcilements
• Balance weekly deposit
• Mail checks

What they're looking for:

• CPT & Pre-Opt candidates invited to apply
• This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation
• This intern will work part-time through Spring 2027 with the potential to also work full-time in the Summer 2027
• The internship is located out of our Mankato, MN office location
• Working towards completing an Accounting or Finance degree, with 1-2 years completed
• Strong working knowledge of computers and software applications such as Excel, Word, and Access
• Exceptional skills and abilities in client service, teamwork and time management
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
