Accounts Payable Specialist

JAMS is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide service to associates, neutrals, clients, and vendors while following business policies and procedures. The role processes vendor invoices, panel compensation, and expense reports accurately and on time, and responds to accounts payable questions.

What you'll do:

• Reviews invoices and expense reports for proper coding and approval, and processing for payment
• Issues checks, including refunds, filing, generating daily and monthly registers
• Responds to questions from constituents relating to Accounts Payable
• Performs a variety of Accounts Payable functions including coding, posting, and balancing data to the Accounts Payable Ledger
• Collaborates with team members to ensure departmental goals are met
• Other duties as assigned within a similar scope

What they're looking for:

• 1-3 years of working in Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processing in an automated environment
• Proficient in software systems such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
• Detail orientation and time management - complete the expected quantity of projects in the expected amount of time
• Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
