Accounts Receivable Intern

Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. The Accounts Receivable team is searching for an intern to support and learn from the AR functions, including cash applications, collection management, and dispute management.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and analyze agency AR statements
• Research AR refunds and application of debits/credits
• Review and analyze credit lines and extension terms for existing customers
• Application of cash payments and short pay research/resolution
• Provide support to collection team on small accounts
• Assist resolution team on research for disputed items

What they're looking for:

• Progress towards a college degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management required. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Be able to follow written and verbal direction
• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel
• Fax; Scanner
• Experience with data entry, invoicing, financial reporting and credit analysis is preferred
• A fundamental understanding of accounting concepts is a plus
