Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Information Security

Activision is a developer, publisher, and distributor of interactive entertainment and gaming experiences. The Information Security Intern will join the Central Tech Security team to build tools and dashboards, enhance anti-cheat technologies, and develop, troubleshoot, and secure software across backend, frontend, and endpoint environments.

What you'll do:

• Join Activision’s Central Tech Security team to build tools and dashboards that support game security operations
• Partner to build and enhance anti-cheat technologies, including applications, APIs, and services that help detect and prevent cheating
• Gain hands-on experience across backend, frontend, and endpoint development while developing, troubleshooting, and securing software in Windows environments
• You’ll also apply cybersecurity and secure development best practices to help create fair and trusted player experiences

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program and graduating December 2026 – July 2027
• Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June
• Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
• Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
• Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
• Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
• Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
• Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
• A passion for significantly impacting game development

• Strong programming fundamentals and familiarity with C/C++, C#, or Python
• Interest in game security, cybersecurity, and full-stack development
