This position will independently perform a variety of secretarial or administrative duties involved in the operation of the Outpatient unit of GGMHC. This position requires the ability to plan, organize, develop and implement procedures to maintain daily schedules.Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant:
Responsible for scheduling and rescheduling appointments, signing clients in and out and providing front desk coverage.
Responsible for obtaining and updating client files regarding demographic, financial, and guarantor information. Return phone calls, voicemails and emails in timely manner.
Supervise front office administrative staff of the Simpsonville Clinic to include completing annual EPMS evaluations.
Responsible for providing coverage to other administrative areas as needed.
Perform cashier duties and collection of fees paid. Train all new personnel for the front desk area.
Position Duties
A high school diploma and one (1) year of clerical experience, or an associate degree in secretarial science or a related field; or two (2) years of clerical experience.
Additional Requirements:- Position is considered essential and may be called back during crisis/disasters/emergencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Post hire, employees must have:
- General knowledge of office practices/procedures.
- The ability to deal effectively with the public in disseminating and obtaining information.
- Considerable knowledge of grammatical rules, spelling, language usage and clerical formats.
