This position is for an Administrative Coordinator 2-4 position in the Human Resources Department located at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana.
This position is responsible for supporting the operations of CLSH Human Resources Department with administrative matters. The Administrative Coordinator 2-4 plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH’s values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients and employees, and ensuring our facilities are maintained accordingly. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care.

Position Duties
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

JOB DUTIES:
- Performs all related payroll duties, including file maintenance, processes payroll timely and accurately, record retention, prior period adjustments, and preparation of reports utilizing the LaGov.
- Answer phones, route calls to the appropriate staff and serve as a Liaison between staff and Human Resources Department.
- Collect, secure signatures and route paperwork from all hospital departments.
- Perform exclusionary database checks, submit requested documents for monthly LDH audit, schedule drug screens, review references, verify minimum qualifications and licensure, create induction packets and HCM research.
- Assist employees regarding name and address changes, direct deposits, ID Badges and other employment concerns.
- Distribute monthly action reports of hires, promotions, reassignments, separations, etc.
- Serve as backup to HR staff ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Completes verifications of income and employment.

Compensation:
Administrative Coordinator 2- $962.40 bi-weekly,
Administrative Coordinator 3 - $1,101.60 biweekly
Administrative Coordinator 4- $1,260.80 bi-weekly
