What you will be doing:
The position operates with a high degree of independence to lead and strengthen administrative operations at Mt. Edgecumbe High School, ensuring compliance with State of Alaska requirements in budgeting, procurement, personnel, and resource management. The incumbent oversees and performs a wide range of administrative functions, supervises staff, enforces accountability across operational systems, and serves as a key advisor to the Director by proactively managing workflows, resolving issues, and maintaining continuity of operations. In addition, the position contributes to a positive residential and school environment by supporting culturally grounded programs, maintaining accurate records, and promoting practices that enhance student well-being, cultural engagement, and overall residential life at MEHS.

Mt Edgecumbe High School is an Advanced accredited public boarding school with 430 students from over 100 communities throughout Alaska. Most come from communities with schools enrolling fewer than 50 students: approximately 80% are Alaska Native. Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:
