About this role
The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is seeking a part-time Admissions Operations Analyst to support its graduate business program application process. The role assists prospective students and applicants, manages application materials and records, provides operational support through Slate CRM and related systems, and supports application verification, domicile processing, interviews, and events.
What you'll do:
- Serves as the point person for prospective applicants and in-progress applicants via email and phone to answer inquiries, assemble required information and materials to complete application files, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Delivers outstanding, responsive customer service
- Manages required application materials to ensure authenticity, confirm essential data, and verify degree completion requirements, with a significant volume from international documents requiring additional research/discovery
- Coordinate and process a high volume of online applications and supplemental application materials (transcripts, resumes, test scores, etc.)
- Processes application records through system inputs in Slate CRM, UVA SIS and related systems; maintains and resolves issues with the integrity of the database
- Manages domicile application process in coordination with the UVA Office of Virginia Status
- Oversees application verification process, in collaboration with external partner organization
- Performs scheduling tasks to support interview and event management

- Proactively seeks additional information as needed to perform job functions and answer questions
- Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly execute on tasks; excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing and complex priorities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including verbal and written) to represent the department
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines
- Understands and upholds departmental policies and procedures
- Strong computer skills, including CRM or database experience, are preferred
