ADS Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities 

• Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities
• Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS)
• Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS machines
• Assist with trouble shooting ADS issues
• Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines
• Prepacks medications
• Handle medication into blister card foils
• Maintain active communication with PIC, Lead and pharmacy staff
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
• Replace potentially expiring inventory
• Restock depleted inventory
• Provide reports for the facility
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications  

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Ability to physically perform light lifting

Schedule: 

• 8am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
