Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
- Three (3) years of experience in operations management at the proficiency level that this position will supervise.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of school division policies and procedures for assigned office.
- Ability to supervise, train and lead employees.
- Proficiency to operate computers and office equipment and use software programs appropriate to the assigned office.

Major Duties/Essential Functions
- Supervises a technical support staff that processes a large quantity of office-specific documents for which accurate and timely completion is crucial to the business of the school division.
- Ensures that subordinate staff provides accurate information to school division employees or the general public regarding policies and procedures of the assigned office.
- Assigns and distributes work.
- Establishes performance standards, reviews work, prepares performance evaluations, and recommends appropriate personnel actions, as necessary.
- Trains subordinate staff in procedural and substantive work of the unit and in the application of guidelines, laws, and regulations; regularly utilizes query programs to create data tables and generate management reports.
- Reviews office procedures, work methods, and policies to assure a high level of efficiency and effectiveness in services provided.
- May provide recommendations to management for organizational or work method improvements.
- Performs related duties as required or assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
