Advisory Intern, Management Consulting, People Strategy & Solutions, Visual Communications - Summer 2027 (Multiple Locations)

BDO USA is an advisory firm providing assurance, tax, and advisory services to clients. The Visual Communications Intern supports Management Consulting engagements by creating client deliverables, presentation materials, visual assets, and documentation while assisting with research, planning, execution, and project closeout.

What you'll do:

• Assists in designing visually compelling client deliverables that clearly communicate consulting recommendations within client branding guidelines
• Assists in developing presentation materials, visual assets, and meeting-ready graphics for client and internal meetings
• Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
• Leverages client branded templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
• Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client’s industry
• Assists with research of best practice design approach and user experience consideration
• Other duties, as required

What they're looking for:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, required
• Digital graphic design experience, required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Word, and PowerPoint, required
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
• Ability to apply best practices in visual design, information hierarchy, and user experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting
• Strong analytical and basic research skills
• Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
• Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
• Able to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to travel 20%-50% of schedule
