About this role
Simple AI is building voice AI agents for enterprise businesses. The AI Agent Engineer will work directly with customers across pre-sales and post-sales to build custom demos, deploy production-ready agents, debug edge cases, improve performance, and translate customer feedback into product improvements.
What you'll do:
- Building custom demos for prospective customers, understanding customer workflows, deploying agents, debugging edge cases, improving performance, and turning customer feedback into product improvements
- You will be responsible for understanding those details and making sure the agent works reliably in the real world
What they're looking for:
- • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for addressing technical challenges
- • A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills and interest in product design and prioritization
- • Self-motivated and able to work independently
- • Passion about learning and keeping up with latest AI advancements
- • Previous experience with prompt engineering or working with AI/LLM-based platforms
- • Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, or AWS
