AI and Application Business Analyst

Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. is a construction industry company supporting infrastructure projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States. The AI and Application Business Analyst will support AI-driven tools and enterprise applications by building and maintaining AI agents, assisting with AI governance, optimizing applications and ERP systems, and producing BI Publisher reports.

What you'll do:

• AI Agent Creation & Management
• Assist in designing, building, and configuring AI agents to support business workflows
• Monitor agent performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
• Document agent use cases, configurations, and change history
• AI Governance
• Support the development and maintenance of AI usage policies, standards, and approval workflows
• Help track AI tool adoption across the organization and flag compliance or risk concerns
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of AI agents/tools and their business owners
• Participate in reviews to ensure AI solutions align with data privacy, security, and ethical use guidelines
• Application Optimization
• Analyze current application usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Partner with end users and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional improvements

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to learn new software systems and tools quickly
• Interest in AI technologies and enterprise business applications
• Exposure to BI Publisher, Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP/reporting platforms preferred (coursework, internship, or project experience acceptable)
• Familiarity with AI/automation concepts preferred (e.g., AI agents, chatbots, RPA)
• Basic understanding of SQL or data querying preferred
• Experience with process documentation or business requirements gathering preferred
