AI Engineer

Alchemi builds AI for drug development teams. The AI Engineer will build and ship agents end to end, evaluate their performance, collaborate with scientists and customers, and turn successful solutions into reusable platform components.

What you'll do:

• Build and ship agents, from tools and retrieval to orchestration and model choice
• Write the evals that prove they work, and keep raising the bar
• Work side by side with our scientists and customers
• Turn one-off wins into reusable pieces of the platform

What they're looking for:

• You've built LLM apps or agents that real people use, not just demos
• Strong Python and good engineering habits
• You ship fast and learn faster
• You're obsessed with how you know something actually works
• Early in your career is fine. We care about slope, not years
• Side projects, hackathon wins or open-source work you're proud of
