AI Engineer, Research and Technical Writing

ScaledOps is building an AI operator that runs projects end to end, beginning with content marketing. The AI Engineer will research technical topics, conduct experiments and evaluations, build prototypes, test AI tools and claims, and document findings for technical content.

What you'll do:

• Research technical questions using code, papers, documentation, products, and primary sources
• Run experiments, evals, and benchmarks
• Build small prototypes when they help answer a question
• Test AI models, tools, and technical claims firsthand
• Document your findings to turn them into technical content

What they're looking for:

• • Background in software engineering, AI/ML, computer science, or a related field
• • Comfortable writing code and working with unfamiliar tools and systems
• • Strong research instincts and a tendency to test things yourself
• • Projects you can show us, including open source work, prototypes, research, evals, experiments, or technical writing
• • Able to explain technical work in writing
• Professional writing experience is not required
• Fully remote with mostly flexible hours
