AI/ML Engineer

EXL is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop and deploy machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI solutions, particularly for insurance underwriting and claims. The role involves building advanced models, processing and evaluating data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into business processes.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement advanced ML and DL models
• Apply NLP techniques for OCR-based text extraction, document classification, and document summarization
• Work on large language models (LLMs) and Gen-AI projects
• Utilize AWS SageMaker and Databricks for model development and deployment
• Conduct data pre-processing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and model evaluation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into business processes

What they're looking for:

• Proven experience in the insurance domain, specifically in Underwriting and Claims
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Prior experience with AWS SageMaker and Databricks
• Expertise in NLP techniques, including OCR-based text extraction, document classification, and document summarization
• Experience with LLMs and Gen-AI projects
• Bachelors is in data science  , engineering or related field
