AI / ML Engineer

Nokia Federal Solutions Inc. provides secure, resilient, mission-critical networking solutions for U.S. government, civil, defense, and intelligence operations. The AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, test, and field advanced networking and computing systems for tactical military applications, translating business needs into technical requirements and implementing AI-enabled services and applications. The role also involves collaborating with technical area owners and developing services using AI models and agentic workflows.

What you'll do:

• Translating business needs into technical requirements and implementing the requirements into services and applications
• Collaborating with technical area owners both on design and implementation
• Designing, developing and maintaining services and applications utilizing AI models and agentic workflows

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Effective use of AI-powered development tools such as Cursor or Augment
• Experience on multi-agent orchestration and workflows
• Strong proficiency in Python and Linux
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker and cloud framework like OpenShift
• Knowledge of AI framework tools like vLLM, Langfuse and FalkorDB/Neo4j
• Competence from databases like OpenSearch and MariaDB/PostgreSQL and system level observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and Robot framework
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
• Master's
