AI Product Intern: Fall 2026

Retensa is an AI software and management consulting company focused on improving employee experiences through technology. The AI Product Intern will support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI SaaS applications while assisting with product research, requirements gathering, Agile ceremonies, user support, and cross-functional delivery.

What you'll do:

• Support Product Specialists on R&D research and feature requirement gathering
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive products
• Provide testing support in staging and production environments
• Engage with software users by providing customer support
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA, to ensure product shipped meets expectations

• A great candidate has contributed to all aspects of a SaaS platform: product design, UI/UX, client implementation, security, and scaling to millions of users
• We're looking for someone who understands and values the full SDLC of modern Agile software development, including requirements gathering, planning, road mapping, development team management, user testing, and proactive client communications
• The internship is for focused individuals with previous software skills
• Candidates should be hard working, enthusiastic, and resourceful Seniors or Graduate students in CS, CIS, Web Tech, IT, or MIS
• Candidates must have experience in any THREE of the following: 1. AI Assisted Development 2. Web App development 3. Application Testing/QA 4. Amazon Cloud (AWS) 5. Agile PM (JIRA) 6. SaaS Product Support 7. Interactive Voice Agents 8. HTML, CSS JavaScript
• Required: Strict Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Prior web technology skills of any kind are required
• The applicant is proficient in English and possess good written and verbal communication skills
• This person should be a strong team player with a positive attitude
• 24-32 Hours per week, 3-4 Days per week (part-time)
• Remote, EST +/- 3 hours
