AI & Technology Strategy Intern - Spring 2027

Brkthru is a digital media solutions provider that helps agencies and brands manage paid digital media campaigns. The AI & Technology Strategy Intern will support AI and technology initiatives by coordinating projects, gathering business requirements, evaluating AI tools and use cases, and researching emerging technology trends. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, documentation, meeting support, and assisting with technology strategy and process improvement.

What you'll do:

• Help coordinate AI and technology initiatives by tracking priorities, documenting action items, and keeping projects moving forward
• Meet with stakeholders across the organization to understand business processes, gather requirements, and help identify opportunities where AI can improve workflows
• Support AI working group meetings by organizing agendas, documenting discussions, and helping prioritize future initiatives
• Assist with testing AI tools and agents, documenting feedback, validating use cases, and supporting continuous improvement
• Research emerging AI capabilities, industry trends, and best practices to help inform Brkthru's technology strategy

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field as a Junior or Senior
• Recent graduates may also be considered
• Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to collaborate across teams
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Based in Michigan during the course of your internship with the ability to report to the office at least once for your capstone presentation in December
• Candidates based in or near Raleigh, NC may also be considered
• Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, technology strategy, or business process improvement
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms beyond basic prompting
• Familiarity with project management concepts or tools through coursework, internships, student organizations, or personal projects
• Experience leading projects, facilitating meetings, or coordinating work across teams
