About this role
Raytheon, part of RTX, develops aerospace and defense technologies, and is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the Airborne RF Electronics product line. The intern will troubleshoot hardware, test sets, and circuitry; analyze test data using MATLAB; and generate or update technical documents, drawings, designs, and specifications.
What you'll do:
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/power circuitry and interfaces
- Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces
- Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met through use of SW (MATLAB) tools
- Generating and Updating documents, drawings, designs, and specifications
What they're looking for:
- • Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
- • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
- • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
- • Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
- • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
- • Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages
