Americas Region Business Analytics Summer 2027 Intern

UPS is a global logistics and transportation organization seeking an Americas Region Business Analytics Summer 2027 Intern. The intern will support the Americas Region Marketing team through research, data analysis, reporting, presentation development, and communication of insights to stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Develops actionable research objectives to address key business issues
• Performs analysis, analyzes data, and interprets findings to ensure comprehensive understanding of results before presenting to stakeholders
• Maintains an understanding of current market and industry practices to leverage existing knowledge and optimize the development of customer analysis
• Communicates findings and insights from analysis to key stakeholders
• Builds databases to manage data for new reports
• Builds reports to efficiently and effectively summarize information, trends, and analyses using graphs, charts, and text
• Documents reporting processes to facilitate development of standard reports
• Documents queries used to build reports to ensure replicability
• Interacts with data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing

What they're looking for:

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program
• Must be pursuing a major in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning/AI, or equivalent at enrolled college/university
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Demonstrates leadership potential, initiative, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for international business, commercial strategy, customer-focused solutions, and driving business growth
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• PowerBI/Coding (ex: Python) and strong Excel skills (with some business knowledge on how growth/decline works)
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA from late May 2027 – early August 2027
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
• Must be a rising college junior or senior, upon starting internship – preferred
• SQL knowledge – preferred
