POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for leading the work of the staff and participate in daily work activities while ensuring the production of the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain current plans, procedures, programs and strategies to enhance performance, accuracy levels and interdepartmental perceptions.
• Ensure maximum utilization of manpower and equipment.
• Responsible for overseeing replenishment, DRP, picking, packing, shipping and International shipments.
• Respond to issues via email or phone in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and maintenance standards.
• Must be able to interact with other departments to help make team successful.
• Must be able to push productivity while simultaneously controlling costs.
• Ability to stand in when Supervisor is out.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of distribution experience.
• 1-3 years of previous leadership experience.
• JDE/WMS knowledge required.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft programs.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels both internally and externally.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and instruct employees on client processes.
• Must be able to monitor, measure and maintain professional attitude.
• Promote fair, safe, trained and engaged work environment.
