Analyst

SRM is a company providing consulting and shared services support to financial services and other corporate entities. The Project Analyst supports client engagements by gathering and analyzing data, conducting market research, developing financial analyses, testing hypotheses, and preparing client deliverables while managing multiple time-sensitive projects.

What you'll do:

• Project Analysts will work in teams playing an active role in all aspects of client engagements
• The Project Analyst will assist leading financial services companies (and other corporate entities) develop their business strategies, identify and implement opportunities to generate financial and operational efficiencies, and support all project related deliverables
• This includes gathering and analyzing data and information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and assisting with the development of client recommendations
• Significant time will be spent performing market research, creating financial analyses, and developing client deliverables in support of senior team members
• The Project Analyst must support multiple simultaneous projects with time sensitive deadlines
• During the first few years with SRM, Project Analysts serve in a junior role on client engagements and work with colleagues and clients in the financial services industry
• Once the Project Analyst demonstrates the skills to advance, they may transition into more senior roles including leading client engagements as a project manager or a more advanced position

What they're looking for:

• Excellent analytical skills coupled with an ability to synthesize findings in a written format
• Strong technical skills with fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS products
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and experience in developing financial models
• Ability to be a self-starter and to work in a deadline-driven team environment
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Ability to effectively complete tasks through problem-solving and with only high-level direction
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Position is based in Memphis, TN
• Travel as necessary
