Analyst, Business Development & Strategy

NBCUniversal is a media and entertainment company seeking an Analyst, Business Development & Strategy to support high-priority initiatives for the NBCU Local Division and its OTT, online, broadcasting, cable, and multi-platform businesses. The role evaluates partnerships, revenue-growth opportunities, strategic business plans, industry trends, and new technologies, with a focus on OTT monetization.

What you'll do:

• Support the evaluation of business development partnerships with external and internal strategic partners across digital and linear
• Analyze potential new revenue drivers and partnerships consistent with strategic goals
• Help create detailed presentations to support analyses for executive-level discussions of strategic business plans/opportunities
• Proactively identify and evaluate trends, new technology, and business opportunities in media and related industries
• Collaborate with Ad Sales, Finance, and Legal to ensure alignment and success

What they're looking for:

• • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• • Minimum one (1+) year of work experience within media BD & Strategy, investment bank or management consulting firm; focus on television/cable, digital ad sales, and/or ad tech a plus
• • General understanding of and passion for the media industry and internet, mobile and/or television businesses
• • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
• • Must be willing to work in New York
• • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• • Must be 18 years of age
• • Team player with solid interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• • Highly analytical self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• • Track record of achieving results by working collaboratively with others
• • Proven quantitative and analytical skills
