Analyst, Cross Product – Risk Retention

Nearwater Capital is a specialty finance company focused on solutions-based financing for financial institutions and financial services firms. The Analyst will support risk retention financing origination and deal execution across ABS, CLO, CMBS, and RMBS transactions through financial modeling, market analysis, documentation review, client materials, and pipeline research.

What you'll do:

• Support the Origination team in executing financing transactions by reviewing deal offering documents and legal documentation, and coordinating operational settlement
• Build cash flow models of financing terms and structure for client review
• Prepare marketing materials and presentations for client meetings with global investment and PE firms, managers, and sponsors
• Research prospective clients and maintain an up-to-date pipeline database
• Monitor upcoming securitization market activity and relevant market trends
• Participate in client dialogue to support the origination and client coverage process

What they're looking for:

• 0–2 years of experience, or a strong internship background, in structured finance or securitized products
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication
• Exposure to ABS, CLO, CMBS, or RMBS asset classes
• Coursework or internship experience in structured finance
• Proficiency with financial databases such as Bloomberg or Intex
