Analyst Strategy team US at BBVA

BBVA’s US Strategy team operates as an in-house consulting team, developing initiatives to improve business functions and drive P&L impact. The Analyst supports Corporate and Investment Banking by tracking product and commercial activity, analyzing market variables, automating processes, and aligning local work with global strategy.

What you'll do:

• Identifying and defining growth initiatives, customer servicing models, commercial systematics and efficiency initiatives
• Implementing governance models to track key strategic lines of work for the country
• Providing support as necessary, encompassing but not limited to the preparation of management presentations and reports, as well as regulatory requirements
• Create and structure databases in order to follow Products activity within the Corporate and Investment Banking division
• Day to day interaction and communication with all teams in order to guarantee accurate data
• Investigate and collect Market Variables which allow us to analyze our commercial activity
• Construct reports in order to accurately follow variables in relation to commercial activity
• Collaborate with the global strategy team in terms to ensure the global - local alignment
• Must be able to manage the reengineering process for currently implemented products
• Data Knowledge and skills to automate processes and solutions
• Willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines

What they're looking for:

• 1-2 years experience in the Corporate & Investment Banking division, desire in Global Markets, IB&F, GTB, Finance, Business Processes, Audit, etc
• Must be a graduate student with a Bachelor's Degree
• Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, AI frontier models
• Excellent communication skills
• Gets excited about solving problems
• Builds strong relationships, while collaborating to get things done
• Demonstrates strong logical reasoning, listening, communication and presentation skills
• Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
