Analyst, US Strategy (Charlotte)

CreditSights is currently seeking an Analyst to join the Global Strategy team based out of Charlotte. The role involves supporting the US strategy coverage effort through macroeconomic analysis, maintaining databases, and writing research reports, while collaborating with seasoned analysts in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to data analysis and writing of research reports
• Build, update, and maintain models and databases
• Interpret credit market data for portfolio recommendations
• Monitor debt capital market conditions across US investment grade, high yield, and broadly syndicated loans
• Prepare presentation materials for clients/participate in client meetings

What they're looking for:

• Educated to a bachelor's degree level or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of financial markets and experience analyzing capital markets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail
• 1-3 years of prior experience in a credit research, economics, investment banking, or debt capital markets role
• CFA charterholder or demonstrated progress toward attaining a CFA charter
• Degrees in STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and FactSet
• Hands-on Claude/GPT, Bloomberg API/BQL and/or Python experience
• A passion for financial markets
