Analytics Analyst I

Builders Mutual provides commercial insurance and safety solutions for the contractor community. The company is seeking an Analytics Analyst I to gather requirements, extract and transform data, perform basic statistical analyses, and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business users.

What you'll do:

• Assist in gathering and documenting data requirements from stakeholders
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for analysis
• Perform basic statistical analyses and data mining to identify trends and patterns
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from business users
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting and analysis

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field and 0-3 years of related experience
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem resolution skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
