Analytics Intern - Remote based in the US

Conifer Health Solutions, a healthcare services company and division of Tenet Health, is seeking an Analytics Intern for a full-time, paid, six-month remote internship. The role supports data accuracy, reporting enhancements, operational efficiency, healthcare trend research, and automation initiatives through project-based assignments and extensive use of Excel.

What you'll do:

• Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all metrics
• Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to ensure correct calculations and proper linkage across worksheets
• Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements within reporting processes
• Complete assigned projects within the internship timeline, delivering high-quality outputs
• Support day-to-day initiatives and special projects with professionalism and accuracy
• Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to the business function
• Attend and contribute to team meetings
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Must demonstrate accuracy, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage data with precision
• Working knowledge of computer applications; training will be provided as needed
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting structure
• Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
• SharePoint administration and support
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime when required
• Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher; sophomore, junior, or senior level preferred
