About this role
Tenet Healthcare’s Conifer Health division provides healthcare business and performance services to organizations nationwide. The Analytics Intern will support data accuracy, reporting enhancements, operational efficiency, healthcare trend research, and automation initiatives through project-based assignments using Excel and other business applications.
What you'll do:
- Accurately update and maintain Excel-based reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all metrics
- Trace, audit, and troubleshoot formulas to ensure correct calculations and proper linkage across worksheets
- Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and support basic workflow improvements within reporting processes
- Complete assigned projects within the internship timeline, delivering high-quality outputs
- Support day-to-day initiatives and special projects with professionalism and accuracy
- Conduct research on healthcare trends relevant to the business function
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What they're looking for:
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Must demonstrate accuracy, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage data with precision
- Working knowledge of computer applications; training will be provided as needed
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting structure
- Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- SharePoint administration and support
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work overtime when required
- Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or human resources
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher; sophomore, junior, or senior level preferred
