Analytics Specialist, Intern (Summer 2027)

MAPEI is a global manufacturer of building-industry solutions. The Analytics Specialist Intern will support the Purchasing and Logistics team by analyzing procurement and transportation data, developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting data-informed decisions and process improvements.

What you'll do:

• Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and transportation data
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
• Use Power BI and Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Analyze raw-material spending, purchase orders, and supplier activity
• Evaluate freight costs, shipping performance, and transportation trends
• Support data validation, reporting accuracy, and process improvements

What they're looking for:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field (juniors/seniors preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and interest in Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, or database tools is preferred
