Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving, this position leads the development and execution of fundraising programs for FSU colleges, schools, and units. Using multichannel strategies—including direct mail, email, text, digital ads, crowdfunding, and phone outreach—the coordinator creates compelling annual giving campaigns, collaborates across campus to build tailored fundraising plans, and recommends strategies and processes that increase donor engagement and support.

  • Create and manage multiple solicitation calendars and strategies to support the fundraising success of various colleges, schools and units to ensure both dollar and donors goals are achieved.
  • Proactively create and implement solicitations customized for each program using various channels (direct mail, email, social media, digital ads, broadcast voicemail, text, etc.)
  • Support and enhance the existing philanthropic and stewardship activities of the programs.
  • Create, implement and analyze results of omni-channel solicitations to provide key metrics and guide future data-based decisions for solicitation strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with other unit fundraisers and leadership to create strategies for sustained and increased giving.
  • Ensure data integrity of the programs donors are centralized within the Division of University Advancement’s data management system.
  • Monitor progress bi-weekly towards fiscal year goals for each assigned college, school and unit, and provide quarterly recaps.
  • Liaison and integrate into each assigned program, becoming the philanthropic annual giving expert on the annual giving team.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

  • A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or ability to obtain upon hire.
