Application Developer-Google Cloud FullStack

IBM Consulting helps organizations shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys through collaboration, technology, and innovative solutions. The entry-level Application Developer will design and develop cloud-native full-stack applications using microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, modern frontend frameworks, and cloud services in an Agile environment.

What you'll do:

• Develop Rich UI Applications: Design and develop rich user interface applications using Single Page Applications (SPA) or microfrontends, utilizing frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular
• Develop Scalable Backend Microservices: Develop scalable and resilient backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, using programming languages such as Java, NodeJS, or Python
• Develop Data Models: Design and develop data models using modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques, ensuring data consistency and integrity
• Implement Event-Driven Applications: Develop event-driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and other cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless communication between microservices
• Manage Cloud Services: Run and manage services on the Cloud, including PaaS, databases, event-driven services, observability, DevSecOps, storage, and networking

What they're looking for:

• Experience with designing and developing cloud-native solutions using microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures, with a focus on scalability and resilience
• Exposure to developing rich UI applications using Single Page Applications (SPA) or microfrontends, with proficiency in frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular
• Experience with developing scalable and resilient backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, using programming languages such as Java, NodeJS, or Python
• Experience with designing and developing data models using modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques, ensuring data consistency and integrity
• Experience with running and managing services on the Cloud, including PaaS, databases, event-driven services, observability, DevSecOps, storage, and networking
• Java, Python, Spanner, Google Custom 1P
• Exposure to hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, with a focus on designing and developing cloud-native solutions
• Knowledge of cloud-native CI/CD for change release and experience with Test Driven Development
• Exposure to microservices purposed programming languages, including Java, GraalVM, NodeJS, Python, and .Net, with proficiency in one of these languages
• Experience with developing Progressive Web Applications based on SPA and microfrontends, utilizing frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular
• 2 – 3 years
